In the scrap and metal trade our materials must reliably meet the precise specifications of our clients and be sorted according to type. For this reason, extensive material analysis is carried out using the most modern of analysis technology as part of our daily operations.

As the materials enter our system, they are subject to routine testing for radioactivity with the help of our stationary radioactivity measuring units. 

Our trained employees use various analysis tools to test the composition and quality of the materials.

The initial material determination on arrival is carried out using our mobile x-ray and laser spectrometers which are able to deliver reliable results on the spot in just seconds. These hand-held devices analyse materials without disruptions for their qualitative and quantitative elementary composition.

For further material analysis, we examine material samples in our test laboratory. Here, we are able to determine the precise elementary composition of alloys using our semi-mobile arc spark spectrometer. This metal analyser uses the volatility of the test material and a subsequent spectral analysis to quickly and reliably produce results. Automatic analysis reports give not just us, but also our clients, the security of a correct material composition.
